Fidan Residence Taksim Deluxe

The night before I was due to arrive, the hotel messaged me saying it would not honor my Agoda reservation because the confirmed price was supposedly “too cheap” after a “system error.” They told me to cancel instead of taking responsibility or apologizing. That left me trying to find somewhere else to stay on the night of my flight, which caused a lot of avoidable stress. A confirmed booking should be honored. Refusing one like this felt unacceptable and unprofessional.

Admin Saleh is a very nice guy, and the hotel itself is small and peaceful. I slept like a baby, there was no noise at night. Breakfast runs from 9 to 11, so I’d suggest skipping it and eating just outside the building instead.

Really beautiful hotel in a great spot near taksim squar. The service was good, and the reception was respectful.

We got there at 10 PM with a confirmed, already paid booking, but they said there was a water leak and that they would move us to another hotel. I believe they had overbooked and were trying to get rid of us. We were a family of four with luggage, left wandering around looking for somewhere to stay. Around midnight they put all four of us in a room meant for two. Booking.com still hadn’t responded in time, and still hasn’t.
