Flats Company- Firuze Apartment

Please avoid this place and the other “Flats Company” apartments. I booked a room but couldn’t leave our country because of the COVID-19 lockdowns. I politely asked if I could cancel or get a credit voucher for a future stay, which would have been the same money at a later time. The owner, Aysu, said Turkey was fine to travel to, with no strict coronavirus measures and everything open, even though there were over 30,000 new cases that day and everything was closed. She ignored my question about a voucher. I asked two weeks ahead, giving them time to find another guest for the room. Booking customer service contacted her for me, and she rejected the voucher again, saying it was a “last minute notice.” Two weeks is not last minute, and she’d ignored my earlier question. I’m furious about how greedy and pathetic this approach to business feels. I lost the chance to stay, and from other reviews of their properties, the whole company seems like a sh*tshow. The management is terrible. If you don’t want to see your money again, book Flats Company. I hope they go bankrupt from their greed.

Clean, cozy room.

The rooms are small.

The gentleman who contacted us was very helpful, and the house is in a good location. We stayed in the downstairs room, but it wasn’t cleaned well. There was internet, but it didn’t work. To open or close the window, you had to climb on the furniture. The bathroom was in a separate room and had no lock, so you couldn’t tell if someone else had used it. It served its purpose, but I wouldn’t pick it again.
