Four Points by Sheraton Istanbul Kagithane

The only small drawback was being a bit outside the old town. Apart from that, we had a great stay at Four Points by Sheraton. The rooms were excellent, and our host Aysenur took wonderful care of our needs and helped my travel companion and me with every question. Thanks for all the support.

A busy hotel, but a great choice if you’re getting cosmetic work done. It’s clean, the breakfast is lovely, and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can catch a train within 15 minutes.

The reception staff were friendly and quite helpful, and aside from the temperature problem, it’s a nice hotel. We visited in December when it was 20C. The room system seemed to have either central heating or cooling, and when we asked for A/C, the heater kept running instead. The room got up to 30C. There weren’t any fans, so we had to sleep with the windows open to manage.

The staff in the lobby and at reception were genuinely welcoming, and having a café in the lobby was a nice extra. The location worked well for us, with easy taxi access from the main road and a short walk to a major mall. Our room was spotless, bright, and a good size for two. With the windows closed, the soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom was immaculate, with a large walk-in shower, strong water pressure, and steady temperature. Amenities were fully stocked, and there was a safe, a properly filled mini-fridge, complimentary water, and high-quality blackout curtains. When we arrived at Four Points by Sheraton Istanbul Kağıthane, the huge, bright lobby and warm, professional welcome made a great first impression. The front-desk agent took our situation into account and kindly offered us a complimentary upgrade to a corner room on a high floor. One small thing could’ve been better: my wife realized after checkout that she’d left a watch in the room. Housekeeping found it, thank you, but nobody called us. A proactive lost-and-found message would’ve made an already great stay even better. This was one of my best hotel stays in Istanbul. I’d happily return and recommend it to friends.
