For AU$40 a night, I don’t have much to complain about. You get what you pay for. It’s a great location, one minute from Taksim sq, and the room was clean enough for a 2-3 star motel. Breakfast isn’t free, despite what Google Maps says, and the wifi was average. The mattress was very uncomfortable. There’s no elevator, and the stairs are narrow, though one of the crew helped with my 30 kg suitcase. I was first given Room 26, but after an hour the toilet ceiling started leaking badly from the floor above. The Iranian lady at reception moved me to a bigger room without hesitation. She was friendly and nice. It was very noisy at night, especially from the street, and you could hear guests moving on the stairs.

The photos don’t match what you get. The location is great, just a minute from Taksim square in a safe area, and the bed was clean, though it smelled strongly of detergent. The bathroom was tiny and not clean at all. The staff were nice, but the problems need fixing.

Room service came every day, which was nice. They changed the towels, blanket, and pillow covers daily. The staff were friendly and spoke English. Bathrooms could use some improvement, but for the price and location I’d still recommend it. It’s really close to Taksim square and the metro station. The area is safe, though things get quiet early, around 1 a.m. or so. Still good value.

A really bad hotel. The room was tiny, very dirty, and smelled bad. When we showered, water spread across the whole toilet. We stayed one night and couldn’t even sleep, so we left the next morning. They didn’t refund us. The people there were very bad.

Quiet enough, with clean rooms and fairly low prices. It’s close to the center and definitely works well for solo or business trips.
