Gen Suites

The hill makes the location a bit tricky, but everything in the rooms was clean and well maintained, and the staff were very kind. They arranged a parking spot right in front of the hotel and helped us park whenever we went out or came back during the day. We had a great experience and would happily visit again. P.S. Thanks for the chairs!

We stayed for a week and they cleaned the room every two days, which was a very nice surprise. The room was very clean, had good facilities, and the shower pressure and temperature were great. Staff were polite and helpful, and the hotel was in a good, fairly quiet spot with a shop right across from it. Taksim was only a short walk away. The price was very reasonable too.

The blood stains on the sheets were disgusting, and cleanliness was a major problem. The hotel felt old, run down, and neglected. Reaching the entrance means a steep uphill climb, which is a hassle with luggage and makes the 20-30 minute walk to Taksim feel even longer and more tiring. I raised the issues with staff on the first day and asked for a refund for the booked nights because I didn't want to stay, but they didn't help or refund me. I had no choice but to stay the remaining nights. I wouldn't recommend this place. It needs serious work on cleanliness, customer service, and access.

Small cockroaches were everywhere, and the room and sheets were dirty. We asked for clean sheets, but the replacements were dirty too. Check-in was delayed because they said they were still cleaning. I wouldn't stay here even for free.
