The kitchen staff member who brought our food was polite and respectful. That was the one bright spot in a very disappointing stay. The room I was first given was in bad shape, and paying extra to move to a higher floor with a better view didn't improve the service. Housekeeping barely happened: over almost a week, the room was cleaned once, and water and toiletries weren't replaced despite repeated requests. There was no proper Do Not Disturb system either. Staff knocked early in the morning and came back later about cleaning, which was disruptive. Several employees were rude and unhelpful, and some staff, including at reception, struggled to communicate in English. Promises weren't kept. Our group had been told breakfast boxes could be prepared for an early departure, but the request was denied rudely the next morning. The standards and service were extremely poor. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The room card issue really put me off. We left it on the table while having breakfast, but staff said they hadn't found it, wouldn't check the cameras, and charged us $5 for another one. Water, tea, and slippers also weren't replenished each day as expected. The walls are so thin you can hear the neighboring rooms clearly, and the breakfast felt more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. I came away very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel has two internally connected buildings, but they're quite different. The back building isn't at all like the front one, so check which type of room you're booking if you're choosing based on the Google photos. The location is the only thing that felt up to 4-star standard.

I slept well in a clean, nice room, and the location was very good. Reception were respectful, especially Mrs Hilal. I'd recommend it, thank you.

Breakfast had lots of choices, and the staff were very kind and polite. I also liked the setting a lot, right by the sea and beside a bus station. The location was excellent.
