We arrived late at night after the night receptionist told us a taxi would be easy to arrange in the morning. The next day, Ismail was rude and dismissive, refused to help with a taxi, and told us to sort it out ourselves. He suggested Uber even though he had just confirmed the internet wasn’t working. When we reported the internet problem, he casually said it wasn’t working across Istanbul and made no effort to help. There was also a constant loud noise from the bathroom, likely coming from the elevator, that kept my sister from sleeping. When we raised it, he asked what we expected him to do and said it wasn’t his problem. No apology or solution followed. When we said we’d review our experience, he sarcastically told us to go ahead because he didn’t care. As someone who works in hospitality, I found his behavior shocking. Basic politeness, eye contact, and a willingness to help should be the minimum. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel because of the reception staff’s attitude.

Restaurants are just a minute or two away, and Sultan Ahmet Square is about a 15-minute walk. The breakfast setup was great, and the staff were friendly. Ismail was especially helpful. It’s budget friendly too, and I’d recommend it.

We had a good three-night stay here with the family. The heater worked well, and the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Beyazit tram station is less than a five-minute walk away. There’s an elevator, and the hotel is family friendly.

We were a family of four, with children aged 10 and 6, and found the room spacious and comfortable. It had good air conditioning, and the beds, furniture, and lighting were new. The bathrooms were very clean, and housekeeping kept everything tidy each day. Staff were kind, quick to respond, and brought us an iron several times without delay. The hotel was quiet at night once the nearby shops closed, so we slept well. It’s about a 5-minute walk, or 300-400 meters, to the Beyazit tram station, and close to the Beyazit food street with its restaurants and cafés. The location worked very well for my family and for exploring the city. The price was extremely reasonable, and the place felt family friendly, with many other families staying there. Breakfast was simple but quite good for the price. We had everything we needed and would choose this hotel again on our next Istanbul trip.

The staff are really friendly, and the hotel is great if you’re looking for a budget stay. It’s close to the beyazit tram station, so you can get almost anywhere.
