Green Life Apart Hotel

The family business has been running for 10 years, and you can feel how much Bruno and Bako care about it. Their place has a relaxed, local feel that made it easy to slow down and enjoy Istanbul. They waited for me when I arrived late, helped with my luggage, and let me leave it there after checkout until I picked it up that evening. They were always around to help, and offered Turkish coffee and tea. One evening I relaxed with them and some friends on the terrace, which had a beautiful view. Tram line 1 is about a 10-minute walk away and goes to many sights on the Europe side. The old building has Turkish charm, and my room was much bigger and nicer than the pictures suggested. It was really a suite, with a small kitchen and full bath. A very nice stay, thank you both for being so welcoming.

We could walk to all the nearby attractions from this hotel, and our apartment was spotless and a great size. Bruno welcomed us so warmly, served Turkish coffee on the rooftop, and gave us great suggestions for food and sightseeing. We absolutely loved our time in Istanbul. Thanks, and we highly recommend staying here.

Bruno was so friendly when we arrived and welcomed us with Turkish coffee. He also arranged our airport transfers and pointed us towards good food and other tourist activities. The rooftop terrace was a lovely extra, with views at both sunrise and sunset. We had a fantastic three-night stay: the room was clean, and the centre and several major sights were only a short walk away. We’d definitely return.

The host was there to greet us in person even though we arrived very late. He shared tips for local restaurants and places to eat, gave us water for free, and explained how to get to the hotel from the airport by public transport. He also arranged a VIP taxi to the airport at a very reasonable price. The old city sights and local mosques are close by, and the T1 tram stop is a straightforward 15-minute walk away. The location is incredible.
