We found plenty of food nearby, and Istiklal Street was only a seven-minute walk away. The metro and bus stop are about three minutes on foot, though there’s a short uphill stretch. With seven pieces of luggage, having a lift was a big help. We arrived close to 11 p.m. after booking through Trip.com, and the staff welcomed us and checked us in without trouble. The room was very clean and most of the furniture looked new. It wasn’t cleaned every day and there was no free drinking water, but we could manage that. We had a very good stay and would recommend it for the Taksim area.

We spent three nights here, and the rooms were generally clean. The main trouble was our room, 501, where the Wi-Fi kept dropping and was too weak to use properly for work or communication. Reception staff spoke very little English, so asking for help and handling basic things was difficult. The bathroom sink drained slowly, and the kettle had stains inside. The hotel is tidy, but fixing the Wi-Fi and making communication easier would improve stays for international guests.

The room was clean, but the smell of sewage was so strong that we wanted to leave as soon as possible. Reception staff were rude and unprofessional, spoke no English, and mocked us when they realized we were Iranian. That felt discriminatory and unacceptable. The kettle base was there, but the kettle was missing. When we reported it, they denied it and accused us of lying, saying they had checked the cameras. It felt like they were treating us as if we’d stolen it. There were no tissues, only toilet paper, and the Wi-Fi connection was poor. The doors still use physical keys, which felt outdated and inconvenient. A terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I’d contacted them on WhatsApp and was greeted when I arrived, but the service turned bad. When I asked to see the room, the receptionist treated me with contempt and took my passport. The employee acted as if I wasn’t welcome unless I was being deceived, and as though I wasn’t suitable for financial exploitation. Bad service and a rude receptionist, like he had the keys to heaven. This kind of thing is widespread in Turkey and threatens its future tourism.
