We stayed here as a family, and the breakfast was better than we expected. The service was really good, and it’s within about a 20-minute walk of many attractions. We all thought it was a very nice hotel, so it’s five stars from us.

The biggest concern for me was safety. I found an electrical socket hanging loose from the wall, which could mean a risk of shock or fire. The iron also had exposed cables. Because of these problems, I have to rate the hotel poorly for fire safety. We were also uncomfortable throughout our stay and worried about our safety, so I’d like appropriate compensation or a gesture of goodwill for the trouble and risks we faced. Other problems kept piling up. Our room was barely cleaned, and the sheets were changed only once. On one occasion, our food was thrown away without permission, which upset me. We struggled to get hangers, even when we asked, and the internet connection was constantly unstable, making it hard to work or stay connected. Fresh towels and shampoo weren’t provided regularly, and I had to ask staff repeatedly for these basic items. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work either. These issues fell well below what we expected and caused a lot of inconvenience. I hope the hotel takes them seriously and improves its service and safety standards for future guests.

I waited more than an hour for the room to be cleaned, and the towel meant for my face was dirty when it arrived. My room looked out onto some tubes, whatever they were, and there was a bad smell. It was so dark that I had to check my phone to tell whether it was daytime or night. A terrible experience.
