The breakfast was filling and really nice, and the woman who serves it and takes care of the rooms was absolutely lovely. The hostel was surprisingly quiet, which alone made it worth the price. It’s also perfectly placed for the Mosques and the usual tourist spots. The staff were incredible, and I had such a great stay that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in.

I spent five days here in winter and had a great time. The price was good, though it might be higher in summer. The location is hard to beat, and the rooftop has a great view over the strait. Breakfast changed every morning and was excellent. The dorms were clean, and there’s a nice common room and cafe where I could play guitar every night. Staff were friendly and helped with onward travel, and airport transfers are available too. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was cold, with only the heaters to rely on, and the TV didn’t work. The towels were old and stained, some lights were out, and there wasn’t a hair dryer in the room. The one thing I appreciated was the location: it’s about a five-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia, near a street full of restaurants. They serve a very simple breakfast each morning with coffee or cay.

I stayed ten nights in a four-bed dorm and found it excellent value for money. The reception, breakfast, and cleaning staff were all friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking to stay in the Sultanahmet area, the location is about as good as it gets.

The female dorm has its own bathroom, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are welcoming and kind. I spent more than a month at Antique Hostel and still looked forward to breakfast every day. It’s on a quiet cobblestone street right in the middle of Sultanahmet, with an unbeatable view from the rooftop. For the price, this was the best hostel in Istanbul. I’ll definitely be back soon.
