The location is excellent, close to Aksaray tram station and Yenikapi for the metro and Marmaray. For the price, I'd rate the stay 7.5. It's a good budget option, though the repetitive breakfast may wear on you during a longer visit. The terrace on the 8th floor has a good city view, and the seven-floor hotel was quiet enough for comfortable sleep. My room was a double, generally clean, and cleaning was available daily if guests asked. Linen wasn't changed each day unless specifically requested. The AC worked very well, there was a small refrigerator, and the bathroom and shower were good, with hot water 24/7. The TV only had Turkish channels and wasn't very good, and some bulbs in the room didn't work. Breakfast was the same every day: fried and boiled eggs, boiled hotdogs, two kinds of cheese, olives, tomato and cucumber, cornflakes with milk, turkey, coffee, tea, juice, and one kind of bread. It's recommended if you're after a budget-friendly stay.

The rooftop terrace has lovely views over Istambul, and breakfast there was delicious. I found The Grand Hotel Davos, Istambul a fantastic place to stay in the heart of the city. The rooms are spacious and modern, with beautiful design, plenty of natural light, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. The beds were especially comfortable, with quality linens and pillows that made it easy to sleep well after a long day exploring.

It's a pretty basic hotel, but the rooms are clean and the staff are really friendly. The location is great, and having breakfast included in the price is a big plus. Similar hotels don't all offer that.

The furniture and building are a bit old, and the Turkish breakfast was acceptable. The location works well if you like walking: the bazaar is about 15 minutes away and the dock around 30.
