Hotel Flash

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed and TV were good, but it was only okay for a one-day stay. At 14 m2, with a big bed, there was hardly room to move or put luggage. The furniture didn't feel suited to a hotel, and there were no water bottles or proper supplies. The building was being renovated, so workers and repair noise were around much of the day. There were no real services, and the staff seemed unprofessional. Just one person was handling reception and room service, and didn't seem familiar with what a hotel needed.

At $45 a night for a double, it was pretty good value. The rooms and bathroom were fairly clean, and the staff were nice, though not very helpful and barely spoke English. No bathroom fan or vent, and the nearby clubs made it hard to sleep because the music was loud. City center is a 10-minute walk away. There are pharmacies, ATMs, and good restaurants nearby, including chain places.

Cockroaches and ants were all over the room, even on the bedsheets. The room smelled, the toilets were dirty, and the sheets weren't changed. Breakfast was poor, and the person preparing it didn't wash their hands before touching the food. It was very warm at night, and neither the air con nor the fridge worked. WORST HOTEL EVER. It completely spoiled my vacation.

The room smelled awful, the sheets were filthy and stinky, and I couldn't sleep on them, so I used my own towel. The bath was dirty and the shower valve was broken. There was no shampoo, soap, towel, or electricity socket, and the hairdryer was broken and sticky. I couldn't charge my phone. When I called for soap and shampoo, they told me to come downstairs and get them. Breakfast was very poor, and the staff had a bad attitude. I have no idea why this place has 3 stars, one star feels like too much. If you desperately need somewhere to sleep, pick the worst hostel here instead. I'll never come back, not even to this neighborhood.
