Istanbul Irish Hotel

Before booking, check my review. I stayed at this hotel for nine days. While I was out, someone came into my room to steal my things. I caught him, but they only gave ridiculous excuses. The woman at the front desk is on his side too. Trust me. I’m trying to report the hotel to the police tomorrow.

This hotel is very old and has no lifts, so I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for families. They brought us boiled eggs for breakfast that had been cooked the day before. You can hear everything happening in other rooms and on the floor above. Music and loud voices from the neighborhood go on until very late, and simply, you can’t sleep.

The room was nice, and there’s a bus stop close by. Breakfast was free and nice too. Just be aware the room was on the fourth floor and there’s no elevator.

The staff were really kind and polite, always ready to help. Mr. Mehmet, the manager, answered all my questions patiently. I also liked being able to get tea and coffee in the lobby 24/7. The location is convenient for reaching the main areas, with the metro and tram just a five-minute walk away. The Irish Hotel is a bit old with vintage vibes, but if you don’t mind that, you may like it. My room was clean and roomy enough, and the bathroom was clean and spacious too. Breakfast was simple but tasty. My stay was good overall. The one problem was loud noise from a nearby nightclub at night.
