We booked five nights but left after just one. From the time we arrived, the area felt unsafe, with police arrests taking place nearby. Our room was small and questionably clean, with cables hanging in the bathroom and a toilet that only partly flushed. We didn't feel comfortable showering, and it didn't feel like a proper room. The receptionist did what he could despite the language barrier. I'd strongly recommend maintenance, including better window insulation.

The hotel staff really came through for me when I was heading to the airport and noticed my backpack was open and my wallet was gone. I asked some men for help; they called a policeman, who then contacted the hotel, and the wallet was found. The staff came to bring it to me and even accompanied me to the Havaist station so I could continue to the airport. They truly saved me, and I'm very grateful.

The staff were really helpful, and the breakfast was decent. My sheets and bathroom were clean, and there was heating and warm water. Some parts of the rooms need restoration, but overall the place was decent.

The owner's care is what earned this place five stars from me. A mix-up with my Booking.com reservation meant our breakfast request had been left out, and we had to leave before the hotel's regular breakfast hours. Even so, he made sure we were looked after, which I really appreciated. His dedication and passion show in everything he does. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully arranged, and for the money this was an excellent hotel.

A lovely host made us feel welcome and supported throughout our stay. The location is ideal, with a market and almost everything else nearby, and the metro is within walking distance. Great hospitality, and I'd highly recommend staying here. 👌 👍
