JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus

I was especially impressed by how welcoming everyone was, from the entrance onward. The reception team were friendly, cooperative, and always trying to help. I want to thank ŞEVVAL BERİL in particular for her time, cheerful manner, warm welcome, kind assistance, and professionalism. I really appreciated her support. The hotel is beautiful, right next to the new Galata Mall. The rooms are a good size, and I liked the decor, lobby, and gym.

The Galata lounge breakfast was wonderful. Melissa, Mehmet, Burak, Ceren, and the rest of the team were attentive and professional, a lovely way to start the day. Halise and Mustafa kept the room spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillow choices were thoughtfully considered. Octo restaurant on the 9th floor had a fabulous view. The skull& Bones bar had great drinks, food, and music. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly and exceeded my expectations. Gem, Özge, Onur, and the other front desk staff were warm, attentive, and helpful throughout. I'd gladly return and recommend this hotel.

We took a cruise from Galataport and found it very easy to walk our checked roller bags from the JW to the port entrance. The route is mostly level brick sidewalks, and it seemed like a straightforward way to get to the ship. Istanbul and JW have clearly put thought into how people make that trip. If we take another cruise from Istanbul, we'd stay here again, 10/10. The welcome was professional and friendly, with tea and lemonade, and our bags were safely brought to the room. The room was nicely decorated, and we really enjoyed the excellent room service food. The rooftop views were outstanding too.

During our week-long stay, the staff surprised my husband with a cake at breakfast for his birthday, even though I hadn't mentioned it. When we went out and returned to the room later that day, they had left another little cake with a “Happy Birthday” message. Those thoughtful surprises meant a lot and showed how much they care about guests. I'll always remember them. The hotel is beautiful and well located, close to everything and convenient for getting around. What stood out most was how kind and welcoming everyone was throughout our stay. I was very happy with the experience and would definitely stay again.
