The room had damp throughout, smelled of cigarettes, and when the bathroom door was open, sewerage too. There was no toilet ventilation, a sharp pipe in the toilet, and exposed electrical cables in several places. The pillows smelled of sweat, and it was horrible. The pictures are incorrect. I asked for a refund and was refused, so I'm waiting for my credit card company to reverse the charge. I reported the place to the authorities. It shouldn't be open, it's scandalous. Other reviews mention cockroaches, which doesn't surprise me given that the waste pipe was broken off in the shower room. This is dangerous to human health. Do not book.

The soundproofing is basically nonexistent. You hear everything, all the time. There's a Turkish nightclub on the first floor, and construction across the road. I filmed the noise in the room at 3:40, as shown in my attached video. For 1100-1500 lira a night, this is a terrible level of accommodation for visitors to a city. I understand the economic situation in Turkey, that prices rise every month and things are hard for people, but that doesn't justify it. You're paying for a two-star hotel and end up in a shabby dorm, with holes in the floor, cockroaches, and a toilet that leaks water into the room. If you have even one other option, I wholeheartedly don't recommend staying here. Add 200 lira and rent an apartment or hotel on a nearby street.

The owner was very friendly and easy to talk to. He only bought the hotel a few months ago, so some renovation work is still going on, but we had a very pleasant stay anyway. Views aren't much to speak of, though the location more than makes up for that in my opinion. It's close to lots of shops and restaurants in Kadiköy, and the main bus station is just around the corner, with a connection to the airport. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Kadiköy.

The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. Staff were very friendly, and breakfast had a great buffet with a good choice of drinks. There's good value here for the price of a night's stay, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and a convenient location near the airport.
