Kalkedon Hostel

Ahmed made a real difference during my stay. He was friendly, always ready to help, and went out of his way to make sure things were right. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable, with a welcoming, home-like feel. It’s in lively Kadikoy, close to the ferry and bus stations, so getting around was easy. I had a great time here and would gladly stay again. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Turkey.

I had such a nice few hours meeting and chatting with people. The social and cultural exchange was a great experience, and the place had a lovely, warm vibe. It was really clean and the bed was so comfortable. I especially liked being surrounded by shops and coffee shops. I’ll definitely be back soon.

The building has lovely historic character and a special, positive energy. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the place seemed very well maintained. The staff were warm and friendly, always ready to help with anything I needed. It’s also in a perfect spot for getting around, very close to public transport. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it for the comfort, convenience and welcoming atmosphere.

This was my second stay, and I’ll be back again. It’s a great place to meet people, as the staff sometimes arrange language exchange gatherings. The neighborhood in Istambul is chic, with lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants around, and the location is hard to beat. The staff are amazing, always willing to help and make you comfortable. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and there’s heating for winter.
