The duplex suite was good value for the price, with a great view from both balconies. It was clean enough for our needs and quiet, even though it’s very close to taksim sq. The location is handy for Taksim Metro and Istiklal. Mert replied to messages very quickly, though we didn’t get to meet him; the boy in charge was there to arrange things and clean the property. Let Mert know your arrival time so someone can meet you. We took Metro lines from Attaturk airport and reached the door in 40 minutes, but the boy was shopping, so we waited 15 minutes until a neighbour called him (?). We’d definitely like to come back.

The apartment is at the bottom of a very steep hill, and the kitchen is poorly equipped: no oven, microwave, or dishwasher. There’s very little cookware, and what’s there is in bad condition. The WiFi is weak and keeps cutting out. I’d strongly recommend a hotel instead.
