Lavanta Hotel

The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to help, and most of them spoke English, so communication was easy. We especially enjoyed the breakfast and the central location. The rooms were nice, too. It was one of our best stays during two weeks of travel, and I’d recommend Lavanta Hotel to anyone visiting Turkey.

The manager was a kind, smiling person, but the rest of our experience at Lavanta Hotel was very poor. Our room was dirty and wasn’t cleaned or given fresh towels until we asked. There were mosquitoes in the room, and a stranger followed us into the elevator with no security around. One receptionist was rude, we argued with him, and nobody helped with our heavy luggage. We won’t book here again.

The room and elevator were both tiny, the entrance smelled bad, and the photos didn’t match what we found. There were no dishes, cups, spoons, forks, or other kitchen items, so you have to buy everything outside. They also wanted extra money to keep our bags at reception for an hour after noon. The service was bad.

The rooms were okay, but the receptionist was really rude. She didn’t speak English, and the few phrases she used came across as impolite. Her expression and manner felt very negative. I didn’t expect this kind of hospitality from Turkish people.
