There were cockroaches and other insects in the room, the sheets were stained, and the bidet shower didn't work. When I asked the manager to move us, he was rude and aggressive, telling me to check out and go elsewhere if I didn't like it. He got even ruder after I refused to make a deal with him to get a car. The hygiene and behavior were both awful. Wouldn't recommend it.

I'd paid for my room in advance, but on the day I was due to arrive, I got an email saying the supplier couldn't accommodate my booking.

The location was the one good thing. It's about four minutes from major sights like the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, and people in the area are friendly. Everything else was awful. They didn't clean the room daily even when we asked, and when I requested towels several times, they always said they didn't have any. Disgusting. Breakfast was terrible, the same every day, with leftover bread from the day before. The breakfast lady and cleaning lady were so rude, and I think it was the same person. If you're planning to stay here, I'd suggest you don't.

The room was clean and comfortable, though it could use some updates. Breakfast had a nice range, and the staff were friendly. The location is convenient for major attractions, and the price is good for what you get. A handy budget option in Istanbul.
