Loca Suit Otel

Had the “pleasure” of spending the night here. The sewage smell in the room was so bad I almost vomited. The receptionist said it was the last available room. I spent 20 minutes explaining that I physically couldn't stay there. After a call with another receptionist, who said the hotel wasn't obliged to help because I hadn't paid it directly and had booked through Agoda, they eventually found another room. He told me to call Agoda and cancel, which was quite the suggestion at 0:05 on Friday night, the day of the reservation. The second room smelled just as bad. I opened every window and could barely stay in it. I don't know what was wrong with the water system, but being there was physically unbearable. Stay away until it's repaired. I'm attaching pictures of the sheets on just one bed in the second room. A 3-star hotel, seriously?

The staff were kind and helpful, even with the language barrier, and a supermarket is about a seven-minute walk away. For a budget stay the hotel can work, but the building feels old. The toilet sometimes smelled musty, and the sheets didn't seem clean enough, so you may want to bring your own. It's in a factory area, yet food ordered at the hotel was expensive when I expected cheaper prices. The walls are thin, too, and voices from neighboring rooms, including intimate ones, carry clearly. If they sort those issues out, it'd be a much better budget option.

We slept really well, and the rooms felt fresh and nicely done in a modern Turkish style. The staff were very kind and did their best to make us comfortable. It's near the airport, which makes it useful if you're flying the next day, and the metro is about a ten-minute walk away. The surrounding area wasn't as bad as I had expected, and the price was below average.

The restaurant downstairs and room service both served excellent food, and the hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and had lovely views. I stayed for nearly two weeks and was impressed by the natural light, the style, and how close it was to the hospital. The staff were a solid, truly professional team.
