Lovely Hi̇story

The room was comfortable and clean, with a warm shower, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer that came in handy in the cold weather. I only stayed one night, so I didn't get to explore much, but Sahil is within walking distance and would be nice for a morning jog with a view. Ömer, the owner, was really helpful and accommodating. He texted before I arrived to make sure everything would go smoothly. The upper floors are only reachable by stairs, and since I had heavy luggage, Ömer and his friend kindly helped carry it. I’d definitely stay again.

The patio was a lovely spot to sit on the sofa and relax or have tea, and the price was good for such a cosy place. The owners were always willing to help with requests. Our room was very clean, with a minibar for food and drinks, air conditioning and a shower. The hotel also cleaned the room and changed the sheets. This was our first trip to Istanbul. The owner greeted us warmly when we arrived, helped with our bags and showed us around. The location worked perfectly for us: the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace were all close enough to reach on foot. We felt safe coming back late at night, which we did often after walking around the city. A lovely, comfortable place at a fair price.

We’ve stayed here twice and both visits were pleasant. The rooms are very clean, the prices are reasonable, and all the places we wanted to see in Istanbul were walkable. The owner, Omer, is a great man and very helpful. He speaks English, which helped us since we have trouble speaking Turkish.

The bed was clean and comfortable. I was on the first floor and expected it to be noisy, but it was fine. The main sights are within walking distance.
