Mar Suite

I’ve already spent seven of my ten nights here, and the place matches the pictures. I’ve felt comfortable and at peace, and my mum, wife, and kids have all enjoyed it. The central location puts a historic mosque, a playground with an attached hospital, and a historic church within a minute’s walk. There’s also a 24/7 bakery, a grocery store open until 3am that sells almost everything, a pharmacy, and a Saturday market right nearby. The bus stop is six minutes away on foot and connects to tourist spots around Istanbul, directly or indirectly. Around it are plenty of restaurants, fast food places, dessert shops, and supermarkets. We mainly used the 35c route because it’s less hilly and gets you almost everywhere easily. The photos were taken at 1:22am from the bedroom window. The cleaner is polite and respectful. Samir is helpful and showed me around and helped me get a SIM card. He speaks Arabic. Ahmet is always available by phone and speaks English. Use a translator app, everyone here is understanding.
