Meroddi La Porta Hotel

We found the apartment and budget rooms just right, and the services felt well worth the reasonable price. The staff took great care of us in every way and gave the sort of five-star service many hotels don't seem interested in offering. Staying at Meroddi La Porta really added to our Istanbul experience. We were very pleased with our stay and would choose Meroddi La Porta again on our next visit to Istanbul. It's a warm, welcoming hotel that made us feel at home from the start, and I recommend it for business or leisure. The location was convenient for major sights and public transport, while still being quiet and comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with a nice mix of modern comfort and traditional character. Housekeeping was attentive and consistent, and the staff were polite, professional, and willing to help with recommendations or requests. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good choice of things to start the day.

That rooftop breakfast with the Bosphorus view was a lovely way to start the day, and the buffet had plenty to choose from. My girlfriend and I spent nine days here. Our room was on the small side, but it felt cozy and worked well for us. The staff were helpful and really nice throughout. Best of all, Galata Tower is just a minute away, with lots of cafes and restaurants on the street above. A solid four out of five.

The rooftop views were stunning, and we really liked the breakfast. We spent nearly a week at Meroddi and found the location incredible. Everyone on staff was kind, and we’d happily come back. The one snag was the WiFi. Maybe it was because of where our room was, but it kept me relying on my own mobile data. Thanks to the Meroddi team for making the rest of the stay so pleasant.
