MR. BEYAZ BOUTIQUE HOTEL

The only thing that felt impractical was the glassware. The cups and glasses hold only about 100 ml, which is very small for a family room, so we bought our own mugs and glasses at a nearby supermarket. Standard-sized ones would make the room more useful. Apart from that, we had a lovely stay at this well-appointed boutique hotel. Its location is peaceful, away from the town center, but shops and public transport are still an easy walk away. Our family room was excellent, with a comfortable double bed and a single bed, plus a handy small refrigerator. The bathroom was modern and clean, with a great walk-in shower. We’d certainly recommend it.

The service and cleanliness at Mr. Beyaz Hotel were far better than at the five-star hotel where we spent the first week of our two-week Istanbul trip. This charming three-star boutique hotel in the heart of Nişantaşı exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and responsible, and they can arrange transfers to major sights, shopping malls, and airports. It’s just steps from the chic shopping and dining spots. If you want a cozy, spotless place in a great location, I absolutely recommend Mr. Beyaz Hotel.

At this high price, the hotel falls well short of what I’d expect for its star rating. The room was extremely small, and its window looked onto the fire escape, leaving virtually no natural light. Noise from neighboring rooms came through the paper-thin walls constantly, and hallway light still got into the room with the door closed. There’s also a small raised step in the bathroom that I kept tripping over. Getting a good night’s sleep was very difficult.

I felt at home here, even though London and Turkey are such different places. I came on a solo trip, just me, a random Black boy from London, and had an amazing experience. The hotel was clean, cozy, and quiet, and for a small boutique place, good service really makes all the difference. The staff are dedicated and work together to keep things running. One receptionist, whose name I never got, is 6’5 lol. We had the most engaging conversations I’ve had so far. Thanks, Mr Beyaz.
