I had a five star stay, though there are a couple of things management could improve. The hotel called a taxi for my airport trip, and the driver spent the whole ride texting, which made me very anxious. Housekeeping also didn’t come every day. Otherwise, the young men at reception were polite and helped with everything. I was upgraded to a magnificent suite at no extra charge, with a jacuzzi and glass ceilings. It was very quiet on the top floor, and the view was lovely even with a small window. One of my best hotel stays.

I can recommend it for a comfortable Istanbul stay, especially if you want to be near the famous sights but on a quiet street. We were in a suite and didn’t hear significant noise, despite the size of the city. The room was very clean, with a minimalist look, and the staff seemed kind and ready to help. My boyfriend and I planned six nights but changed plans and stayed just two, so we didn’t get a full impression. I’m holding back the fifth star because similarly priced Istanbul hotels can offer extras like a pool or balcony.

The staff’s genuine kindness and helpfulness are what stayed with us most. We loved SYKAI Pera Hotel. Our room matched the photos, maybe even better, and getting there by taxi or public transport was easy. We also enjoyed exploring nearby spots on foot. Definitely recommend it!

The metro is right beside the hotel, and the location made staying in Istanbul really easy. The rooms were neat and clean. I’d had trouble at my previous hotel, but this place rescued the trip with a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. Everyone was so helpful and nice, especially the receptionist. I think his name was Sayed, though I might have written it wrong. Thanks, guys. We’ll definitely return if we visit Istanbul again. Keep it up!
