Myy Hotel Istanbul Asia

For the price, I was happy with the stay and thought the service was good and friendly. The free breakfast was a nice surprise, and the rooms were nice, though not as pretty as the photos. They could use some basic work: wallpaper peeling off, missing or non-working light bulbs, and chairs and carpet that look like they need a deep clean. The whole place looks as if it was made as a fancy hotel in the 90s and nothing has changed since. I'd have given 5 stars if they fixed the easy things, like wallpaper and bulbs, but we're in Turkey, not Switzerland, so I think the price is reasonable.

The furniture in my room looked very old, and I got no instructions at reception on how to connect to WiFi. While I was in the bathroom, someone tried to open my door. Before bed I noticed an old blood stain on the pillow and what looked like a cigarette hole in the sheet. I suspect there may have been bedbugs too, since I woke with two bites on my right hand. The hotel didn't respond to the complaints I sent through Booking, so I left after just one night.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms smelled awful and were very humid. My room was really dirty, and my friends' bathroom was covered in black mold. It was unbearable. The hotel wouldn't offer another room or even a discount. I'm sorry to say it felt like a horror movie. Do not go there, ever!

I couldn’t sleep at all. We booked the room for one night, but it smelled like sewage and mold, possibly from a leak. There were little hairs on the bed, fingerprints all over, and marks on the sheets. The third bed was just a mattress on the floor, with no bed frame. The place may look nice in concept, but inside it was filthy and stank.
