The bathroom was awful, with black mold everywhere and a strong bad smell. The cleaning lady only changed the towels and did nothing else. Our room faced the main street, so the noise made it impossible to sleep at night. Staff barely speak English, just a few words, and they also speak only a few words of Turkish. They ask you to leave your card at reception every time you go out. On arrival they also ask for a 50 Euro deposit, which they return at checkout. Do not book this hotel!

After 13 hours of travel, we got to the hotel at 07:00, but were told early check-in would cost another 20 euros. That didn’t make sense, but I accepted it. Then he said 15 euros would be fine, and refused again. We left and came back at 13:00, only to be told the room wasn’t available because of a clogged pipe. Yet I checked Booking and the room was still listed, now for 46 euros instead of the 28 I’d paid. I had Genius status, so Booking had given me a free room upgrade and free breakfast. I’m sure they sold the room for more and ditched us. Stay away, they’ll try to take as much money as they can.

My bracelet was stolen by the housekeeper. There’s no room safety, and I’m sure it happened in the room.
