Niconya Port Suite&Hotel

There are lots of shops and places to eat nearby, including spots for authentic Turkish food without international tourists around. The location worked well for me. The TV could use an upgrade: there are no English channels or streaming services, so you might end up learning Turkish from the local channels.

After a week here, I left disappointed. The way breakfast and reception were handled made it seem like money mattered more than guest satisfaction.

For what I paid, this was a really good place, and breakfast was part of the room rate. The breakfast area was nice and the food was good. My room was large and clean, with a clean big bed, a TV, a desk, and windows that opened for fresh air. There was also a fan and air conditioning for the summer heat. A bathroom light had stopped working; I waited 3 to 4 hours for someone to fix it, so the response was slow, but it did get repaired. It seems like a fairly new place, only a couple of years old. The airport tram stops nearby, which is a plus. I’d stay again if I’m in Turkey and would recommend it.

They act like they deserve four stars. The one decent thing was that the room got a basic clean each day. With no soundproofing, you can hear sluggish sex, and you’ll be breathing cigarette smoke all night. If that sounds acceptable, then you can spend the night here.
