We walked everywhere and hardly needed public transport. The location was the best. At first, the room felt underwhelming and a little small, but the breakfast was superb if you like salad, coffee, and Turkish sides. They told me it’s cooked fresh at the hotel, and I loved everything. I’m from Thailand, one of the countries best in food, so believe me. We stayed six nights and found no flaws. The room was cleaned every day, and the cleaning lady was nice, so I didn’t worry about valuables being stolen. The shower pressure was the best, and all the staff were good people, helpful and welcoming. We could see the famous palace from our room, though it was a bit far away. We also loved that the windows opened like a door and let in fresh air. Thanks for everything.

I didn’t take any pictures during my stay, but this hotel and its people will always be favorites for us. We met Mr Orhan, Mr Hasan, Mr Serdar and Ms Aslı. They were kind, helpful, and lovely, and really warmed our hearts. If you want to feel at home while you’re in Istanbul, I recommend this hotel. I’m sure you won’t regret it.

The location is convenient, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. But the basics of a comfortable night were missing for me: the sheets felt rough and made my skin itchy, even though I always shower before bed. The air conditioner also struggled, so the room got too warm overnight and I woke up hot and sweaty, needing another shower. There were a couple of other things that made the stay less comfortable. Cigarette smoke would occasionally come into the room, though nobody was smoking inside. I wondered if it was being pulled in from someone smoking near the air conditioner intake. The Wi-Fi was completely open with no password, which left me concerned about privacy and security. A comfortable room temperature and bed matter most for a basic hotel stay, and unfortunately I didn’t get either here.
