Seymus at reception and the young man handling the luggage were wonderful. Their incredibly warm welcome made me want to learn Turkish! Getting around Istanbul was easy from Orka Hotel, with the tram and major attractions just a short walk away. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the place felt welcoming. The staff were consistently helpful, kind, and professional. Ufuk & Samet deserve a special thanks for being so friendly and positive and for all their support. We had a lovely stay and would happily return.

The breakfast was generous and tasty, and having the hammam and sauna included was a great perk. We found all the staff friendly and polite, especially Mr. Şahin, the guest relations manager. He was professional, gave us helpful information, and was always ready to assist. The hotel is well placed for sightseeing, and while our room didn't offer much of a view, it was clean and comfortable. The terrace has a lovely view. I'd consider staying again and recommend it. Our room was tiny and freezing in winter because the air conditioner didn't work. We were there with a newborn, which made the cold especially difficult. When we called reception, they hung up on us twice. The staff were rude, unfriendly, and seemed not to care whether guests were comfortable. They barely spoke English, too. This was awful, and I can't recommend it. Find somewhere else.
