Otel Ay

I came from out of town for treatment at Ümraniye EAH (Education and Research Hospital) and wanted somewhere close by. I was glad to find a place that’s affordable, clean, dependable, and comfortable. The owners and managers were helpful, and the ladies working in the kitchen were very sweet. The location is excellent. Step outside onto a nice street, and Çarşı metro station is only a 3-5 minute walk away. It works well for families or for staying on your own. The one downside is the thin walls, so loud phone conversations carry through, though a polite warning could sort that out. Great value for the money.

The lady from Rize at reception was very understanding of people’s needs. I was really pleased.

So apparently you can’t stay in Afghanistan for two days without an official marriage certificate. Maybe you should open a branch there, then! :D

The place had a family feel, and the staff were very friendly. My room was very clean during my two-day stay. If I come back, I’d choose Ay Hotel again.
