Otel Yenikapi

The room was warm, the balcony was large, and the price was affordable. We stayed five nights, and the friendly staff and good location near the metro made it easy to reach different parts of the city. But cleanliness needs work: there was lots of dust, dirty walls, and stained bed linen. The balcony was shared with other rooms and couldn't be locked, so it didn't feel private. We were also given just one pair of slippers for two people, and the toilet brush was old and rusty. The hotel has potential, and a few small changes could make it much better.

Tolga was awesome at sorting everything out. His service, attitude, and manners were amazing, and he made the whole process smooth. He's great at solving problems. My advice to the hotel: promote Tolga. He's an asset, and losing an employee like him would be a big loss. Thank you, Tolga and Otel Yenikapı! 😁

Tolga at reception turned my stay around. He was welcoming, respectful, attentive, spoke excellent English, and was ready to help with anything. He even made the best tea I had on the whole trip, better than many places outside. He's a true gentleman and a great representative of Otel Yenikapı. Earlier, an elderly staff member had stopped my brother from entering my room even though we're relatives, and the disrespectful way he spoke to him left a very bad first impression. After that, things improved: the room and bathroom were clean, the food was clean, good, and well prepared, and the hotel's comfort made me feel at home. I'd still recommend the place, especially because of Tolga's kindness and professionalism.

This was my second time booking here, and I don't recommend the hotel. Even though I'd booked and paid for a room, they sent me to the hotel next door because none were available. That showed no professionalism.
