Mehmet was one of the kindest, most accommodating hosts I’ve had in years of using this platform. He checked in regularly without becoming a nuisance and suggested useful places for groceries and reasonably priced meals. We also arranged our airport transfer through him, and the timing worked perfectly for us. The area is easy to walk around, with sights, mosques, food, and the ferry nearby. There are cameras at the entrance to see who comes in. The apartment is on the first floor, and since the hall is shared with the other units, you might hear the front door late at night. If we come back to Istanbul, we’d book again if it’s available.

I spent four nights here, and the apartment was just as pictured, clean and comfortable. It’s in a quiet area with restaurants and small supermarkets close by. Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and other sights are an easy walk away. For places farther out, there’s a tram stop a short walk from the apartment. Communication was consistently good. The host checked in a few times to see how things were going, and answered questions quickly and kindly. The place and host made for a very good stay, and I thought the value for money was good too.

Mehmet was attentive, quick to respond, and accommodating, and I had a lovely stay. The room takes a bit of stair climbing, so it may suit younger guests better. It’s close to the attractions and the station, and I’d recommend the place to anyone staying in Istanbul.

The people in the neighborhood were really friendly, and there were restaurants nearby too. From the apartment, it was a short distance to Sultanahmet, the tram stop, mosques, museums, the beach, and the sea. We had a great stay, and the host was very friendly and took care of everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend it.
