Park Star Hotel Taksim

The main plus is the convenient location, an easy walk from Taksim Square. My room was clean and compact, fine for a short visit. Breakfast let us down. There were very few choices, and the quality didn’t meet expectations. Other guests have also reported similar problems with it.

A mess from the start. We had a reservation for six, but were moved to another hotel without being told. That hotel, part of the same group, then said we had to come back here in two days. Nobody seemed clear about what was available or when. There’s an Indian restaurant in the basement that was never mentioned, and it left a terrible smell through the building and rooms. The bathroom was very small, breakfast was poor and served on a specific plate with no hygiene rules, and when we asked for an extra blanket at night with the temperature outside at 0°C, they didn’t have one. At least they let us leave our luggage in the lobby after checkout. Worst choice ever.

There was no hot water for a shower, and the staff were rude and unhygienic. The hotel was extremely dirty, with the smell of sewage everywhere. The rooms were so cold I had to sleep in my jacket. Breakfast was awful and the dishes weren’t clean. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was literal hell.

Right in Taksim and close to everything, with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Good value too. I’d definitely stay here again 💯
