Pelikan Hotel

The breakfast was terrible, and some of the food was expired. There was no service, and they kept trying to overcharge us. People offered excursions constantly, nearly every time we passed reception. Nobody spoke English, only Turkish, so be ready to use the internet and a translator. On our last day, they tried to charge us for another night or for services we couldn't understand, even though we'd paid until 12:00 and left earlier that morning. The hotel owner told our taxi driver in Turkish to add 600, and the driver charged us more than we'd agreed for the ride. I don't recommend this hotel.

The place was dirty and non-refundable. The rooms are tiny and feel really dodgy, the lift is small too, and there are rats that jump up at you.

The staff are good.
