The hotel has a modern look, good amenities, and a convenient location. I found the rooms comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Still, the breakfast area needs more hands, especially when groups are staying. The team struggles to clear and clean tables during busy periods, which affects the meal. If you’re sensitive to noise, avoid the 7th floor: the restaurant above, on the 8th, can be heard in the evenings and early mornings. Better staffing and organization would improve the stay.

I ended up here unexpectedly after Turkish Airlines canceled my flight because of the weather and arranged a room at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Istanbul Avcilar, with transport provided. It’s a long way from Istanbul Airport. The hotel isn’t new, but it’s clean and tidy, and the rooms are spacious. There’s WiFi and meals, with breakfast and lunch served buffet-style; the selection is limited, though the usual things are there. I ate in the top-floor restaurant, which has a view of the Sea of Marmara. This is a city hotel with the necessary services, but it can’t compare with places in Istanbul’s historic center. It also seems to serve Istanbul Airport and hair transplant clinics as a corporate partner: I saw quite a few men with bandaged heads after procedures, as well as people whose flights had been canceled.

I hadn’t planned to stay here, since my flight was canceled, but the staff made the unexpected stop easy. Nusret and Mert were especially helpful and kind, and handled everything professionally. The room was comfortable and clean, and I really enjoyed the food. Great hospitality from the start.

Mirag, Deniz, and Lookman deserve a special mention for the energy they bring to the restaurant. I especially enjoyed talking with Lookman about Istanbul and history; he knows the city well, and those conversations gave my stay a personal touch. Deniz was friendly and ready to help with whatever I asked, while Mirag came across as smart and ambitious. I’m sure he’ll do great things. The whole team was respectful, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. My questions were always answered clearly, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The service was great from my arrival to the end of my stay at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Istanbul, from 09th February 2026 to 14th February 2026. I wish them all good health and continued success.
