Ravello Suites Taksim

We spent two nights here with our family. The floors throughout the hotel were filthy, and when we asked for slippers, we were given a crappy scrap of something. The room cleaning we requested never happened. The bathroom was awful, with visible dark grime in a bathtub that didn’t seem to have been cleaned with any product. In one room there was no light bulb, and nothing was fixed after we asked. There was a TV but no remote, and the AC also had no remote unless we asked for one. The receptionist didn’t seem concerned when we raised these issues. They seem to have no idea how housekeeping should work.

The room they gave me wasn’t the one I had booked. The receptionist was very rude, shouted at me, and hit the table in front of me. I asked for the manager’s number but wasn’t given it. When I requested towels, they said they were in the laundry, then left me waiting four hours without any. They said they’d change my room the next day, but then told me the hotel was fully booked. A very bad experience with a very bad hotel and staff.

The location is good and the view is nice, but there’s no balcony. The inside doesn’t look very clean, and the walls are cracked all over.

The location was great, with easy access to everything. The road in front of the hotel is flat, with no hills, and gets you to Taksim Meydan in two minutes. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. For couples, I’d always choose a room bigger than 200 ft; a single person can take one under 200 ft. My rating is based on how I use a room, since I usually go to sleep late, between 12 and 1 am.
