Three Apples Suites and Hotel

The one thing in its favor is how close it is to Taxim. The room was damp, dusty, and horribly dirty, and there was no cleaning service or elevator. I brought bed bugs home from the place and had a terrible time getting rid of them. If you care about your health and cleanliness, don't book here.

There was no electricity or hot water during the first day, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting out for hours at a time. They advertised a safe and a kitchen, but there was no safe, stove, or kitchenette equipment in the room. When I asked for cookware and a stove, they rudely refused. There was no proper showerhead either, just a portable washing head. They also advertised breakfast, but didn't serve it or explain where it was supposed to be. I wouldn't have eaten there anyway, but they gave no explanation for not providing it. The room wasn't cleaned once during my week there. The dirty floors and sheets were the least of the problems. The whole room smelled foul, and I saw a termite on the bathroom floor and another on the kitchen counter. There was also a smell that made me suspect termites. I developed a serious rash and itching on the second night. I had to get my suitcase fumigated and take medication for scabies I contracted there. I've included pictures of the bites in this review, and I had to use my phone's flash to take some of the photos because there was no electricity. This place should be inspected and closed for health violations.

We stayed for a week and never got the room cleaned. When we asked, they said it would be done after two days, but nobody came and the towels were never changed. Twice we were served cheese with mold on it at breakfast. The receptionist wasn't friendly and seemed angry for no reason. The young guy working there was really unkind too. When we couldn't open the downstairs door, he said something in Turkish that sounded like he didn't like us. If you don't want guests, don't list your hotel on the app. It wasn't worth it.

The only real plus was being close to Taksim Square. Breakfast could have been better, and the employees weren't polite or helpful. I was there for two days and they didn't send room service. From the moment I entered, the room looked dirty: there were ants on the counter and floor, and the sheets and pillows clearly hadn't been washed since the previous guest. I asked about them and they brought me clean ones. If you care about clean rooms, you probably won't enjoy this place, as I didn't. I wouldn't recommend it.
