The breakfast was very good each morning, and we felt welcome throughout our few-night visit to Istanbul. The hotel is affordable and pleasant, with clean, roomy, comfortable rooms. Our bathroom had strong water pressure and reliably hot showers, and the mini fridge and electric kettle in the room were really handy. It’s a quiet area with plenty of places to eat and a small supermarket next door.

I had some of my best family moments at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and drinking water was available all day and night at no charge. Breakfast was delicious and had everything. Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Hagia Sophia, sea tours, and Turkish baths are all easy to get to, around 15 to 20 minutes away. I’m happy to give it five stars 😊👍

Rodion Hotel is very well placed for getting around. Eminönü Tram Stations (T1 & T5) and Haliç Metro Station are close, and Sultanahmet, Galata Tower, and the Spice Bazaar are easy to reach. On the street nearby there are restaurants, grocery shops, fruit stalls, and other basics. The owner and his son, Mehmet, were kind and welcoming, and helped with everything from directions to travel tips. They really made an effort to make guests feel at home. Jannat, who makes and serves breakfast, was polite and hardworking, and the food was fresh and delicious. Umar (Uzbek), the night receptionist, was friendly and cooperative, and ready to help at any hour. I found the hotel neat, simple, and cozy. It isn’t luxurious, but it has what you need for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. It felt clean and peaceful, with a homely atmosphere, and I’d recommend it to budget travelers.

The neighborhood feels authentic, with lots of varied, affordable restaurants, and the A101 supermarket is right across the street. You’re also close to public transport and major Istanbul sights. The hosts, a father and son, were attentive and welcoming. They offered a complimentary breakfast on my first day, had free tea available all day, and even lent me an umbrella when it rained. My room was clean and had what I needed, including fresh towels changed daily, a hairdryer, mini fridge, and large TV. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was generous and delicious too. I’d gladly stay at Rodion Hotel again! Billel
