The staff at the front desk were great and very accommodating. This hotel is good value for the price, and the location is excellent, close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Grand Bazaar. Breakfast was basic but there was plenty: olives, eggs, sausage, dips, yogurt, fruit, cereal, cake, and breads. They provided water too, which was a nice extra. The rooms looked a little worn, and hallway noise carries inside.

Management agreed to refund the accommodation right away when I asked, without arguing. I appreciated that, but the stay was still a very poor experience. I booked through Booking.com, and on arrival found the rooms looked nothing like the online photos, with very old furniture and badly scuffed, dirty walls. The paid parking was another serious problem: the staff member who took my keys tried to drive the car over a high curb. It scratched the fender and scraped the entire underside.

What stands out most is how warm and welcoming the staff are. The housekeeping team also deserves a big thank you for keeping everything immaculate each day. Hagia Sophia is only about a five-minute walk away, and the rooftop views are breathtaking.

The photos gave me a poor first impression once I arrived, because the room and the hotel's general condition didn't match them at all. What was advertised online felt misleading, and what you see while booking isn't what you get. I'd tell future guests to be cautious and not trust the photos on their own. Very disappointing at Rumours Inn Hotel.

The restaurant had delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, and the rooftop terrace has stunning views. We felt right at home thanks to the kind, helpful reception staff. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to Istanbul's most iconic landmarks. I'd definitely stay here again.
