Neverland Hostel

The friendly atmosphere was a big part of the stay. After a really exhausting day, the owner and staff surprised me by inviting me to dinner, and they were helpful the whole time. I spent three days in a four-person dorm after New Year’s Eve. The room was spacious and clean, and the hostel was well heated. The location was very good and the price was a real bargain. Most of the time the facilities were clean, or got cleaned right away.

The lounge was one of my favorite spots, and breakfast was a welcome extra. We also found the rooms and bedding clean, and really liked the artistic feel of Neverland Hostel. For the price, it’s a great deal if you’re comfortable staying in hostels.

It has that classic backpacker hostel feel, with a really good vibe. Everyone was friendly, and it’s open all day and night. The showers had hot water, the internet was decent, and there are lockers, though you’ll need to bring your own lock. Some areas could use a bit more cleaning, and the rooms didn’t lock.

The location and decoration were the bright spots, but the room was dusty and dirty, and the beds felt uncomfortable and very basic. I’d booked a double bed and we were given a twin room instead. We could hear the person next door snoring, vomiting, talking, and doing other things as if they were in our room. There was no sound isolation at all. The sink only had hot water, there was a lot of noise, and nobody came to clean. The staff didn’t seem very friendly, either. Even in a private room it was a bad experience, so I can’t imagine the dorms. I wouldn’t recommend it to solo travelers. Breakfast needs improvement too.
