The room was spacious and quiet, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location worked well for the nearby large hospital. The metro station is about a 20-minute walk, or a shorter taxi ride. For a few nights, it was fine. A USB phone charger in the room and a TV with international channels, rather than only Turkish ones, would have made it better.

At Oruya Hotel in Istanbul, the room conditions were well below what had been advertised. The windows were broken and let cold air in all night, so I couldn't sleep comfortably. The rates felt extremely high for what was offered. As a foreigner, I also felt I was being overcharged and misled about some costs. The pricing wasn't clear, and it gave me the impression that tourists are treated differently. I can't recommend the place. Istanbul has many better, more honest options.

The staff were okay and helpful, but the room was hot. They said the AC was centrally controlled and they couldn't turn it on because other guests might complain. We'd just had surgery, which made the heat especially difficult.

We felt so welcome here. The staff were 10/10, kind, and understanding, and the rooms were beautiful and clean. The service was very good, and the food was really tasty. I recommend this hotel to Dutch people ❤️
