We had a better stay with my family than I expected, and the price was hard to beat. The rooms looked old, but they were clearly well kept, and the staff were nice. The location is the one drawback: expect steep roads and a lot of walking. They even let us extend checkout for a discount.

The workers were helpful, and the place itself was good. I had a few practical issues. There’s no parking, and the street is so tight you can barely stop for 2-3 minutes to unload. Since I had rented a BIG van, I parked about 700 meters away, which was no problem. The street outside has a steep incline, so you have to go up or down for about 15-20 meters. That’s not suitable for people with older companions. It would also be a nice extra if they put a couple of bottled waters in the room each day. It wouldn’t cost much.

The rooms were clean and good for the price, and the facilities matched what was listed on Booking. The staff were polite and helped us a lot. The only issue for me was getting to Taksim: it’s very close, but the steep slopes make the walk really hard with a child or a lot of luggage.

We felt safe here, and Taksim was only a short walk away. Even coming back after midnight, we’d still stop at the local shop for a couple of small things. The staff were great and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.
