The staff were helpful, but the room smelled so strongly of cigarettes that even the clothes left inside my suitcase stank when I got home. I spent the whole night wishing it would end so I could leave. How can a room smell that much of smoke?

For what it costs compared with similar places, the price is very good. It's a mid-range boutique hotel, just as its name and appearance suggest, so don't expect a five-star property. I stayed one night. The staff were friendly, and when I offered to pay in advance over the phone, they said I could pay on arrival. Was it bad? No. Was it great? Not really, though it wasn't bad either. Cleanliness could use a bit more attention. Things get missed or forgotten sometimes, we're all human. The staff were nice; people tend to give back what you give them.

The rooms were freezing, and the beds were old and worn out. Staff spoke rudely and dismissively; they should treat customers with more courtesy and understanding. I'm also sure the place doesn't even have a hotel license. Don't stay here, you'll regret it. There are much better hotels nearby.

I was afraid to touch anything in the rooms, they were so dirty, and there wasn't a refrigerator. I saw the hotel owner's replies to reviews and have two suggestions: work on how you speak to customers, because the responses come across as aggressive and accusatory; and spend the time you use writing replies on cleaning and sterilizing the hotel. Fix the cleanliness and you'll get much better reviews, without having to wear yourself out responding.
