The room issues were a real letdown. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, weren’t clean enough, and we had to ask staff to clean the bathrooms before we could use them. The pillows and towels smelled bad and weren’t clean, and there was no electronic safe for our valuables. Meals were much better. Breakfast had lots of tasty options, and lunch and dinner were delicious and professionally prepared. The food court view was amazing. Staff tried to help with laundry and ironing, and on our last day the owner and his wife warmly welcomed us, checked that we had what we needed, and were very helpful. Communication was difficult because staff couldn’t speak English, so even making a request took a long time. They also weren’t familiar with the local village and nearby tourist spots, and couldn’t suggest places for us to visit.

We booked the deluxe room for our wedding anniversary, paid by bank transfer, and got a phone confirmation. Then the hotel called us three times to check that we were married. After a five-hour trip from Izmir, we arrived to find out they’d downgraded our room because someone else had taken it. They never mentioned that in any of those calls. It felt like a TV prank. We got our money back and left with nowhere to stay for our anniversary. Unprofessional, and the marriage obsession was strange. We’ll never go to Taslihan again.

The place is remote and not cheap. We arrived in the evening to find no cook, heating, or hot water, apparently these were all available only on request. The staff eventually sorted things out, and the food was good. They don’t serve alcoholic drinks.

Lovely place and a great view, but the wedding music was really bad. Please move things forward and stop playing mustafa ceceli. He is disgusting.

Weekend open-buffet breakfast gets too crowded and costs too much. Go early, or some of the food may already be gone.
