The lobby gives you the impression that things will be fine, but the room was another story. It smelled of smoke even with the windows open, there were wires sticking out in the bathroom, and the furniture was very old. Holes in the walls had paper stuffed over them. The staff barely understood English, which was only a little uncomfortable for me. For one night at most, if you only need somewhere to sleep, you might put up with it, though even that felt like torture. For a longer stay, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m glad I’m leaving in the morning.

We both slept well on the comfortable beds, and the staff were really kind and helpful. My mom and I arrived late because our flight landed after midnight, so they let us sleep in and gave us an extra hour after the usual checkout time. The lobby was amazing, it felt like stepping into the glamorous 80s. Our room had fresh, clean bedding and towels, plus shampoo and slippers, just what we needed between flights. The WiFi was great on the 4th floor, breakfast had lots of options, and the SAW airport is about 3 minutes away. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it.

The rooms are generally clean, but room 702 had no shower door on one side and a hole in the wall stuffed with paper. The air conditioner remote died overnight, so I had to wake up several times to turn the unit on manually. The remote also felt filthy. I don’t think they realize it needs cleaning.

A peaceful setting, a lovely breakfast, and easy access to the city centre for shopping.
