The Bridge Hotel

The view is worth the price, and the rooms are clean. It's in a convenient spot, close to everything. Service was a bit poor, though, and there isn't breakfast.

I chose this hotel from the US because of its location, and that was a huge mistake. The room we got was cold, with the windows open every day and no heating or air conditioning, and the bathroom was dirty. They claim to provide rooms like the ones in the photos, but said those rooms were all occupied. When I asked for a refund because the room wasn't suitable for a snowy night in Istanbul, they said it would be handled later that week. I later found that the manager and staff had lied and cheated. Don't stay here or trust the staff. Look elsewhere, even if the low prices seem tempting.

It was okay enough to stay, but I wouldn't return. The room didn't look much like the advertised photos, and the lobby was regularly full of people who weren't guests. The promised free airport shuttle never showed up, so we had to pay upfront. Also, Ortaköy is about 45 minutes from the main sights.

Restaurants, cafes, activities, and the sea are all nearby. The spot is quiet and comfortable, though taxis are often crowded. I'd suggest taking the ferry or metro instead. Furqan at reception was very helpful, and I thank him for his hospitality.
