I was so unhappy with this stay that I just wanted to leave. We booked it as part of an agency bundle for Istanbul, and although it's advertised as four stars, I'd give it two at most. The hotel area was very dirty and made us uneasy. Inside, the corridors smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the elevators didn't close all the way and took ages. The room was small, with very old furniture, and so filthy I had to disinfect it myself to make it livable. The bathroom was incredibly dirty, its ventilation didn't work, and the toilet broke on our last morning. The air conditioner looked like a biohazard, so we couldn't use it, even though Istanbul was very hot in mid-August. The fridge was hot, and the TV buzzed even when switched off. We couldn't work out the room temperature. It was comfortable inside when the weather was hot, but on cold nights the room heated up as if something was generating a lot of heat. We couldn't figure out the cause and kept the windows open all the time. With the curtains open, people in other rooms could see us. We went to breakfast only once. There wasn't much to choose from, and the vegetables were terrible, which was all I dared to try. I didn't have much contact with the staff, but they were helpful.

I especially loved the spa. It's neat and very clean, the staff are professionals, and the massage was relaxing and comforting. This is a great place to stay in Istanbul.

I really liked the room and comfort the hotel offers. It includes a spa, and the Turkish bath was great. The massage was wonderful too.

Don't stay here. The building is outdated, the facilities are broken, and the conditions are unacceptable. The bathroom was freezing, the water icy, and the window wouldn't shut while the room was only 8°C. There was a strong sewage smell, and breakfast was extremely poor. Not worth even one night.

The room was unclean, including the pillows and toilet, and the materials looked old and outdated. Even though we'd reserved only a few hours before arriving, the prices were changed without consulting us. The surroundings looked very bad and weren't appealing.
